Your driver in truck 4040 has total disregard for others safety other companies property and how to represent his company. Today we where parked in Edwardsville KS at a truck stop. This driver opens his bunk door and throws his water and food on our truck, steps and ground around my door. It is below zero so all freezes. Witch both my dog and I use get out of because I'm not driving my husband is. Your driver apparently does this thinking it's solo driver and wouldn't see the crap he throws onto others properly. His bunk doo... read more

Decker is a decent company, I will say it’s probably the best starter company to drive for. The office staff are nice and the equipment you drive is top notch. In my experience after 2 years is more times than not you are living off the minimum pay which is $800 bucks a week after deductions. Some weeks you’ll make $1,100-1300 but that’s hard to come by. I’ve been driving for Decker for two years now, and I can say that I’ve got no complaints whatsoever and am personally refuting all of the negative comments about the company. No company is perfect, but Decker tries to be… I make good money, get home when I want to, and have great support when I need it. I’ve had plenty of offers from other companies, but I don’t have to be a genius to know not to try to fix what ain’t broken.

The road test they do at orientation is ridiculously strict and will often fail drivers for reasons I still don't understand. I recently got sent home after doing a road test for a flatbed driver job here. I drove 8 hours to orientation, took the road test, and I failed for "disobeying traffic laws". So did a few other flatbed drivers in class. They don't offer a retest or have you go out with a trainer for a few weeks to let you get better. Fail the test? They send you on a slow bus to go home. I've had other road tests wit... read more
