DeckTech ruined our deck. It is not completely gouged & pitted. • Use of the wrong product to strip the deck, a “hazardous material” known to severely damage wood. Rather than “a biodegradable and sustainable chemical, detergent, cleaner and/or stripper”, Deck Tech used “oven cleaner” to strip our deck. “Oven cleaner” is essentially sodium hydroxide, an EPA & OSHA “hazardous material” which is used in the paper industry to turn wood into pulp. Do your homework people. If I did mine I wouldn't be in this position today. I would have seen the poor BBB rating and all of the complaints files against Deck Tech. Deck Tech was hired to stain or log cabin. The owner comes out for the quote talks very nice to you and then send a bunch of people that don't speak English to work on our house that I worked very hard for. Bad customer service. Work was not good. "Technician" who power washed my swing set left my water on full blast. Left a swampy mess in my back yard. I called and spoke to Cindy in customer service and she treated me as if I was making the whole thing up! In addition to this, my swing set was powerwashed a week ago and should have been finished by now. cindy said they had to wait until its warm enough-mind you, it was 80 yesterday and 80 today. Well worth the money!! Recently had my gazebo, deck and balcony treated- found the entire experience to be pretty smooth and easy, results are fantastic. California Cedar is a nice color for anyone who is in the market to have their property stained with this company. Estimate was lower than i expected for all the work, and the representative was a nice guy. Got tons of compliments at my daughter’s graduation party- makes the entire yard look great. Definitley would recommend this company.

Very Professional! – From the time I got my estimate to the time I paid my invoice, Deck Tech was very professional. My deck looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier! They used a color called California Cedar and it really made my deck look like new.

Hard Working Crew! Busy Bees!! – As soon as Deck Tech arrived to my house they got straight to work, covered my rose bushes and brick pavers, got to sanding and before for you knew it they had completely restored my deck! Its NEVER looked better!! They have really good and hard workers! If your in the market for getting your deck restored...you should contact Deck Tech. You'll be happy you did.

Very Professional, Reasonable Quotes – After doing a little homework, I reviewed all bids received and came to the conclusion that Deck Tech is very reasonbly priced! they were definitely the more professional of the 4 companies that provided me with a quote. Its been about a month now after getting the work done and I couldn't be happier. My deck looks great! I will make sure to call them back in a few years for the next treatment.
