This is the first review I have ever written, as my son, who just started his own small business, showed me how to write a review and encouraged me to support other small businesses if deserving. We just bought our house and the sad, neglected deck that came with it. We honestly thought we'd need to replace it. After getting a quote and talking in depth with the owner, he assured me it could be saved. They continually kept me updated about when it would be power washed and then stained. They use an extremely high quality stain and left me the can so I could match it in the future if needed. I would strongly recommend that you avoid working with this company. In April, I was quoted a fair price on getting my deck stained with a 4 week lead time. I was continually given the "Weather" excuse when I called and asked for a update on when my deck would be stained. After 10 weeks of waiting, the owner of this company was unable to provide a new lead time on when my deck would be completed and I requested that they no longer stain my deck. Deck Staining Specialists Inc I hired this company to power wash and reseal my wood deck. The experience has been horrible! A worker arrived at 1pm, not 8 am as scheduled. Their brochure promises “covering and protection using drop cloths in and around the specified staining areas, taping is also done to ensure maximum protection”!!! He power washed the deck without using any tarps or other protection for the surrounding areas.
