So yesterday the apartment above us hot water heater busted. It flooded our apartment. Water was coming out of the lights and plug ins. Which is a huge fire hazard. The ceiling and walls are now all sagging in our kids room!!! The carpet ya started to mildew and stink. Our kids aren’t even allowed to sleep or play in there. Nothing was done to fix the issues. Moved in in December 2016. The heat didn't work, still doesn't. Using space heaters. Fridge makes so much noise we have to sleep with our bedroom door closed. My wife suffers from an ear disorder and the noise agravates her condition. The new countertop in the kitchen has a dreadful appearance. They placed new material over soft and powdered particle board so now the counter is wavey and loose. All this and three months later, countless complaints. No action. Very bad situation! Second year as a tenant. The staff is very friendly! When they heard that I'd lost my key they made one ahead of time for me so when I paid I could just pick up!
I just renewed my lease at decatur place apartments! This place is great!! I've not had ANY problems since I moved in!! The management and staff are the best in the business!!! Sam and Amy are great at what they do!! They get to know you and will help you when you need it without making it feel like an inconvenience!!!
