I told Dr. Debra Levin that I've had shingles twice. Shingles is very very painful - and I've gone through it twice. You can get the vaccine (without doctor's permission) at age 50. I'm 48 1/2 and asked Dr. Levin if she would give me permission to get the vaccine, since I've had the condition twice. She ignored both requests. Incompetent. Not caring. Shouldn't be a doctor.
