Receptionist seems like she doesn’t even know what she’s talking about. Called to make an appointment glad they didn’t even take my insurance because the receptionist basically told me nexplanon is a IUD(intrauterine device). I did tell her nexplanon is not an IUD, she continued with yes it is, it’s an IUD that goes in your arm. Nexplanon is a birth control implant that goes in your arm, not inside in your vagina. Dr. Epstein is one of those rare doctors who actually take the time to talk to their patients and find out their concerns. I’m a new patient, and have been at her office 3 times ( the recent one because of a medical issue), and during those times, I didn’t feel rushed and all my questions were answered.
