My wife was seeing her on a regular basis for about 7 weeks. She seemed nice at first but soon my wife found out that she could not actually refer her to get help. My wife needed a psychologist or an actual therapist in which case she is neither. She can not offer what either registered professionals offer. Also she did not collect the copay after each visit. Couldn't diagnose me with anything just have me "tools" to manage my emotions and then after seven weeks of seeing her she sends me a bill of all my co-pays which I thought were already taken care of. Very disappointing
I started seeing Debra several years ago as I was attempting to save my marriage. She provided perspective to my situation that I never really thought of and kept me above the depression that kept pulling me back in. I thought she was a pretty good therapist and did not have the same experience the other reviewers had. I would definitely recommend her.
Ran across this name by accident looking for a counselor 5 years after i was told “at least your son wasn’t murdered, could be worse”. I couldn’t even believe after losing my child a “ grief counselor” could say something like this!!! Never went to another counselor after that experience. Time to go, just save yourself a trip from this one!!
Kept interrupting me, told me sad stories about other clients/people that only made me feel worse, was in a hurry to leave at the end. Absolutely awful, I wouldn’t recommend.
