Dr. Wubben makes no effort to make a connection with patients and does not listen to patient concerns. She is only concerned about labs and talks at you with medical jargon. When concerns continued, basically said labs were fine and nothing further needed to be tested. Finally found another endocrinologist team that listened; patient concerns were addressed and validated.
She is NOT trans-friendly, she will talk you out of correct decisions about your own body and does not listen even a little when presented information. I am sure with Cisgendered women she is great, but as a transwomen I am forced to give her a singe star. and even that is a bit much.
She was my doctor in 2010. My a1c was horrible under her care. Then she had the audacity to deny me a much needed insulin pump. As a type 1 diabetic that was not ok. I immediately left her care after the pump denial. And I never looked back or regretted it. All these years later I still remember her decision almost costing me my life.
