My experience on Tuesday June 17, 2025 was excellent. I phoned the day before because I was anxious with tenderness in my right breast. I utilized the NYP portal with my concern. Less than 4 hours I received a call from Dr Hemel’s office. They gave me an immediate appointment for the next day at 9:15am. Dr Hemel’s saw me before 9:15 and instructed her lovely Assistant to make an appointment for me at Lawrence Hospital for the next morning. Dr. Hemel is a thoughtful doctor who listens to your concerns and provides great advice. While I have moved out of Westchester, I am continuing to see Dr. Hemel in her practice. That should speak volumes.
Dr Hemel is the consummate physician. Personalable, professional, attentive, listens to and really knows her patients. I trust her implicitly. She is truly dedicated, committed to her patients, strives and delivers superb care and is unquestionably a STAR. On a scale of 1-5, she is a 10. Can’t say enough superlatives about Dr Hemel. Devoted.
