I thought I'd try Deborah Coyote's services, despite the one 2 star review here on Google because I wanted to give her a chance. At first, things started off okay (even though I didn't feel a connection between us) and her accepting Medicaid insurance was great. However, the sessions weren't brining the results I was hoping for. Admittedly a lot of it probably had to do with me not feeling a connection (a sign of a good match in therapy is feeling a connection). I sought Deb’s professional help while dealing with a number of past issues and planning on a major, life changing surgery. Immediately her no-nonsense demeanor was clear but with options quite limited for in-person treatment, I opted to not judge so quickly. I had to miss an extra session because of the surgery due to pain and even though I gave a great deal of notice, this was not met with compassion or understanding and instead I was told to let her know if I wanted to “continue forward with therapy”.
