Dear Fiberglass – Beware! Owner talks about how good he is and how long he has been doing fiberglass boat repair work but I had nothing but problems dealing with this guy. Find another fiberglass shop. Lets see very questionable work, Rude owner who doesn t respect customers, Rude girl who answers the phone, and ultimately can't repair fiberglass. Stay away. Do some good research before you choose a repair shop.
Very good service and very good work. – I have used Bubba Dear for several repairs on my Triton and my Skeeter. I am going to use him to repair my Glacier Bay that I ran aground several days ago in the low tide. Saw the prior review and could not believe what I was reading as one of my repairs was about the time of that review. Go figure!
Terrible Customer Service! – I spoke with Bubba Dear on the phone about repairing my boat and trailer which were damaged in an accident. He told me he could send an estimate to the insurance agency based on the damage as I descibed it on the phone or I could bring it by for him to look at first. I decided to do the latter. I took a couple hours off work and trailered my boat approximately 30 miles to let him look at it only to have him basically turned me away because it was near lunch time.
