We had our first Dean cake in September. & layer caramel. Incredible!!
I saw Dean's cakes in my local grocery store and just had to buy one. I got the chocolate 7 layer cake. Overall it was good but the cake was really dry but the icing was great!! Some of the best chocolate icing I've ever tried and I don't even like chocolate icing or cake anything. I don't know if the cake had been sitting too long in the store or what..if so shame on them because I've heard nothing but great reviews and was disappointed. Next time I will purchase from her actual store. Keep up the great work Ms. Dean!!! �🖒
On our way back from a Florida trip we decided to stop by Dean's after seeing it in Southern Living magazine. We each picked a different flavor slice of cake and each one was better than the last! Hands down the best cakes I've ever had!!
We stopped today and bought the lemon, caramel 7 layer cakes, fudge and cookies. We bought slices of the coconut cake, red velvet and chocolate. We ate the coconut and chocolate slices on the drive home. Both were delicious and moist. We can't wait to try the others.
