Got my shipment of Birdwatchers Blend and Tapestry EC Roast. Delightful!! Must change my habits and start drinking my coffee black for all the robust flavor they have. Shucks, even the shipping box smells great! :-D

While I like the work that Dean's Beans is doing for small growers etc., I suggest, that if you like good coffee you avoid Dean's Fair Americas - Peruvian. I recently ordered three of their coffees and the Asian and African are excellent. BUT, the Peruvian beans were dry, looked like sawdust when I ground them and when brewed had about as much taste as sawdust. I emailed my complaint to Dean's from n their website and got a reply that said "Sorry" this is just how this roast tastes and to order other beans if I don't like th... read more
