Dr. Swabe is in with a group of physicians so if he is not available you can always be seen by another doctor and they are open 6 days a week. My son has seen Dr. Swabe from birth to teen years he has been a real life saver! I can honestly say he is not only a great physician but has became like a family member.
He listens!!! Doesn't undervalue information from parents.
The Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Dr. Swabe has been my sons doctor for 17 years so as our time needing a Pediatrician is coming to a end we will be very sad. Dr. Swabe has become like a family member to us, He goes beyond his duties as a doctor, I truly believe if not for his wisdom as a caring Physician my son might not be here today. So yes I would ??recommend him. This is a busy office so you might have a long wait at times but it is worth it for a (Good Doctor).
If you decide to go to this practice avoid Dr. Solomon like the plague. My daughter went in to see him with a list of symptoms she was having. She was basically miserable. He looked at the list, told her he couldn't make a diagnosis, basically called her a liar and told her she needed to see a therapist or psychiatrist because it was all in her head. Despite being assured by Dr. Terry's nurse that either he would call me back regarding a concern I have with my son or that she would call me to tell me to go away, neither happened. I thought their business was about compassion and professionalism, but I obviously misjudged them. If you love your child, I suggest you go elsewhere in Knoxville.
My children were very fortunate to have Dr. Swabe as their pediatrician. His willingness to listen, exceptional medical knowledge, and caring attitude are characteristics Dr. Swabe brings to every office visit
The most amazing pediatrician I have ever had. She has both of my kids and knows them on first name basis and also myself and my husband on first name basis. She cares so much about her little kiddos! Love this lady!
My son has seen Doctor Swabe from birth to now in his teens, He is a Great Caring Doctor.
My children have been patients of KPA for 11 years. When my daughter hit puberty she asked if we could switch to a female doctor within the practice. Our current doctor at the time said that usually happens when the kids hit puberty and recommended Dr. Yen. She's just as amazing as our male doctor. We just love her! The time she spends with my daughter is genuine and we never feel rushed. She is encouraging, loving, and makes us feel like family. We are truly blessed.
