My son passed 4 years ago. Dr. Herzler was not only a professional, he was his friend, his angel, he was who gave him confidence and strength to continue with a disease that had a date and time, We always remember him with great affection.
I AM THE MOTHER WHO LEFT THE PREVIOUS REVIEW, I WANT TO SAY ALTHO THE STAFF MAY NOT BE THE BEST HE IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR AND I SAID THAT LAST TIME AS WELL.. JUST TRY TO GET PASS THE FRONT DESK, SUCK IT UP BECAUSE DOCTORS LIKE HIM ARE RARE. HE IS CARING, COMPASSIONATE, AND KIND. HE IS INTERESTED IN MORE THAN JUST SEEING YOU AS A PATIENT = $$$, HE IS THOROUGH, HE WILL LISTEN TO ALL YOUR CONCERNS AND MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE KNOWING YOUR NEXT PLAN OF ACTION FOR YOUR CHILD

Dr. Hertzler is one awesome person 1st & formost! My daughter, Hannah was one of the 1st surgery he assisted with when he came on board at JDCH. And so far he has done 6 of 8 of her Neuro surgeries. I TRUST him & his staff with my daughters life no matter wht he recommends! He is a not only a great person, he also is an amazing, doctor who has so much compassion for his patients! He has great bedside mannerisms. FYI my daughter has Chiari malformation, Hydrocephalus, Syrinx's,. Highly recommen
He recently 2 wks. ago removed a tumor from my 1 yr. old grandson's head. He was able to get the whole tumor out. Watching him come out of the recovery room to talk to us after surgery with a smile on his face gave us such relief. WHat was only a short distance seemed like a thousand miles to us and his smile made it all worthwhile. His treatment to my grandson Anthony and his treament to all of us was outstanding. Thank you for being there for us. AS my son says you are an artist . Grandma
