Dr. Halbert is a kind and caring doctor. I wouldn’t consider going to anyone else.
In front of many people, he told me that I was "fired". He refused to treat me, even though he was my PCP. He sent me a letter that said I would not be allowed to be treated by SETMA, the Southeast Texas Medical Associates. Why did he do this? Because he heard a rumor about me that was not true.
He is a very kind person and very thorough. Gets things done quickly. His nurse is very friendly and helpful . They make you feel comfortable and are easy to talk with
Very caring. Cares about your health. Thorough. Checks every thing he can think of so nothing is missed.

I have no idea how Dr. Halbert is getting low ratings. We think he’s fantastic! I wish I could give him 10 stars.
I do not recommend him for many reasons
Find someone else. Rude and uncaring, in a hurry to get you out and on to the next patient. I started seeing his nurse rather than dealing with him. I've since left SETMA and found another primary.
