I highly recommend Dr. Smith. Straight forward of his action plan for me. What to expect, what the action plan is for my recovery, What he sees in the future for my recovery. It just took me to be motivated to move. That is the key he said so may times, Move, don't stay idle after surgery, Yes, there is pain after surgery but moving, walking is the key to a faster recovery. I had tears everyday to the point of not walking and staying in bed, Now I have tears of JOY from the doctor who gave me life to start living again.
Dr. Smith is such an amazing back specialist. He listens to your concerns and provides amazing feedback and advice to best address your concerns. I really would recommend Dr. Smith to anyone who needs help with their back or spine.

I had surgery with Dr Dean Smith, I was never seen by him or his staff at the hospital. I was discharged with fluid in my lungs. They had to remove the fluid from my lungs twice. I was shocked by how his wife is more concerned about her trips during patient visit to their office. I have followed up with other good surgeons and they advised me the growth on my back is still there the same size and shape as what he claims he removed. Dr Dean Smith performed my spine procedure, which included stem-cell injection and four screws, more than two years ago. Other than a few aches and pains caused by myself, my back is healthy today and I feel great. I highly recommend anyone with back problems to see Dr Smith.
I gave a five star on everything. I believe he is that good. I especially like the fact that before the operation he explains everything that he will do and how it will affect you. I couldn't be more satisfied.
My husband recently had complicated and difficult back surgery. Dr. Smith provided outstanding and excellent care to him while giving me all the support a spouse would ever hope to receive. His manner towards me and my husband was gracious, kind and considerate. The surgery was a great success and the level of attention my husband received was outstanding. Dr. Smith is a very fine surgeon and a great healer!
