Firstly, I rarely write reviews and when I do it's positive. Only once before did I write a negative review on a business but I felt it was my obligation to prevent others from falling prey to their scam. Others reviews on businesses have certainly helped me make wise decisions on purchases. This being said I am writing a review here because I was treated so crudely and felt the 'spa' to be so unsightly & disheveled that I was stunned. It is decorated strangely & clumsily & when I went to the bathroom I was immediately appal... read more

The Dead Sea Spa is one of my favorite places in Salt Lake! My mom and I first heard about this spa through a Groupon deal about a year ago. We both got deluxe pedicures and were very pleased--especially for the great, competitive price! I loved their color selection, as well as different types of polishes including Vinylux (what I got) which lasted longer than regular nail polish. After going into the spa the first time, I was intrigued about getting threading done for my eyebrows and upper lip. I have very thin hair, but t... read more

Great service! 100% satisfied. I moved here from Houston and got the same bad eyebrow wax at 3 different pricy salons in Salt Lake City/Park City (cookie-cutter shaping with no attention to the shape of my face, basically beauty school level but I paid $50+). Dead Sea Spa is the first place I've been that resembles the level of service/training I found in Houston. Staff are friendly and level of skill and service far exceeds any other place I've been here.

Worst spa ever! Rude customer service and I'm pretty sure it was the owner, and really horrible ambiance. It's in a strip mall, which doesn't have to be bad but then you walk in and it's obvious it's in a strip mall. Really trashy.

I really Enjoy my experience in this Spa I return every two weeks for my shallac manicure it lasts longer than any other place I've gone. I first came in on a groupon for Threading a few years back and continue to get my brows done here I wouldn't trust ANYONE else. I was asked to write a review on the other review site Yelp! because they are only showing the BAD ones. I was in the spa wile they were responding to the bad reviews. It saddens me that I wrote one and it never showed up. The manager told me that you have to pay... read more

I went to this spa and I did a Brazilian and it was for women only which is not common for the Utah area. this service was really comfortable and it was very clean. the atmosphere was really friendly and there was a lot of privacy. this is the cleanest and friendliest spa I have been to!

I had a Living social deal that I purchased for a Deluxe Pedicure and a Shelac manicure. The Voucher cost me $35.00. Great deal and I was really excited. When I arrived I asked if I could get Shelac on my toes as well and they said no problem. 3 hours later, I was ready to leave and they told me that I owed an extra $35.00 because I upgraded to shelac on my toes. In general, my service was ok. A little slow but friendly. My nails look ok. not fantastic, but fine. I am very irritated that they DOUBLED my cost without informin... read more

I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to everyone!! It is not your typical spa by any means. I have been all over the valley and this is my very favorite. It isn't the cold, sterile environment you find at most other spas, but rather warm, and inviting. You truly really feel transported away! They are the most friendly staff I have ever encountered! One of their estheticians, Emily is seriously the most talented I have ever known. She has provided me with a body treatment, facial, pedicure, and shellac. They we... read more
