Consistently rescheduled service appointments every time i used them and recently blamed me for not understanding their manpower shortages. Last straw was when they sent technician without proper equipment after rescheduling twice. Worst service experiences ever. Oil delivery experiences have been satisfactory but required 1-2 week advance notice. Together, these facts make this company unacceptable for a longtime customer
My Mother who is 73 years old and a customer with fuel assistant with Dead River. Her boiler failed in Feb 2025. And they wouldn't come out to check or service it due to new corporate practice. Come to find out her oil was completely out which was on auto renewal refill. 3 days without heat or oil refill in Feb for an elderly women is lucky it didn't kill her. Sorry they say, Dead River, not a great name for service in this case.
Two days before our scheduled automatic oil delivery, we ran out of fuel. Within an hour of my call, the driver was pulling in to fill up the tank! Wonderful response to our situation!
The staff at Dead River in Northampton Office specifically Chris, Victoria, and Robin were amazing! They went above and beyond with our initial needs until it was completed. Our oil tank needs to be replaced as there was an oil leak due to the oil tank being so old. They all have shown professionalism, empathy and kindness, and prompt service. Ron, the oil delivery man was wonderful! Kudos to all of you! Truly, appreciated all that you do and thank you so much! 😊👏👍🥰
