I am going to see Dr. Karnika Ayinapudi as a new patient, but not until NOVEMBER. Today is April 27th. She might get a better rating after I see her if I don't drop dead first. I've had 3 strokes, in Afid at all times, thickening heart wall muscles with an atrial septal aneurysm that was normal in 2010 but the largest ever seen at Deaconess Midtown at that time. Ridiculous

Great bunch of physicians, nurses, and staff at a state of the art facility. They have a lot of patients so schedule accordingly. There is plenty of parking. It is very easy to find using Google Maps. If you need any heart related issues treated there is a doctor here that can and will help you. They also serve the local hospitals in the area.

I've been in the hospital 3 times in a month for afib. I can never see the same Dr and my meds get changed. Today I'm in terrible afib and they couldn't find the time to return my call before everyone took off early. I feel like I'll be dead before I get a simple procedure to fix my problem. It's put off till the first of November

If you have a choice in getting a heart monitor from somewhere else, I strongly suggest considering it. I am normally in the Ascension system, but due to an ER visit to Midtown I was prescribed a monitor from Heart Group. This place's inattention put me on a path of entering a Twilight Zone of waiting for test results/re-administering tests for two months. All of which could've taken a couple of weeks if Heart Group had been on the ball. Deaconess, for unclear reasons, uses iRhythm Zio heart monitors, which have to be mailed... read more
