Finally made it in to eat here and was very happy with this new restaurant. I had the taco plate with rice and beans and chose to get one chicken taco and one carne asada taco. The chicken taco was very good, and the carne asada taco was amazing. My wife got the carne asada fries and she loved them. The flavor of their carne is some of the best I’ve had. I absolutely recommend this place.
The tacos were so good I forgot to take a picture until I had already eaten most of them on the drive home! Delicious, authentic Mexican food, a clean restaurant, and friendly service. De Los Altos is a great restaurant to visit when in Julian and a must-try if you're craving Mexican flavors. Highly recommend!
I have been wanting to try this new restaurant in town since they opened, and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. My child who never eats her food when eating out (not bragging, but this mom is a good cook), ate all her food! The chicken on her nachos was flavorful, tender, and clearly well-marinated. We are blessed and fortunate to have this restaurant in our area. The food is delicious, good service, nice view.
