Rang up and asked for a quote regarding things that needed to be fixed on my car. The guy said he will would get back to me (he never did) and I had to ring them to chase the quote I asked for from the week before. So when I rang them back she told me they couldn't find the original quote and I had to tell them again what was wrong with my car. So I went elsewhere. Maybe that had a bad day that day but I have and will go elsewhere in the future
De Jong fitted me even though they were very busy, and even with a bit of trouble getting the right parts for my 20 year old Ute, they did a great job.
After charging us $90 to just check our car and let us wait in their parking for ages, they told us we had to replace everything and not just what we needed to repair with an unbelievable price. They said they would send us an email to schedule our booking but they never got back to us at all. We went to another mechanic in the meanwhile and fixed everything at half price. Learn from our mistakes and avoid this place.
Learn from my mistake. Avoid these guys at all costs.Charged double of what repair should have cost. Asked them to replace a blown gearbox. I organised a gearbox to be dropped off. I rang to confirm the gearbox had been dropped off and said, while your changing the gearbox can you change the rear main seal as well. Yes. OK, see you soon. Coming over from Victoria towing a caravan my Ford Ranger was due for a service. After calling a few mechanics and finding they were all busy and couldn't help me. I then called De Jonge's , they were busy but they went out of their way to help me out. I was able to get it serviced the next day. Now I feel confident heading back across the Nullarbor back home. I could not recommend them higher including the girl at front desk who could not have been more helpful.
