Personable and thorough.
His manner is different than other doctors for sure. He is not just trying to diagnose and send you out the door. He will listen to you and try to find resources to get you the medication you need. And he will listen to what you think you might need. I saw a different dermatologist for a while and it was a totally different experience. During the appointment, the consultation felt rushed, and upon being seen by the doctor, I was immediately shown the door.
