I have been using them for a few years now. Website works great. Prices are good. The delivery driver is excellent, I under estimated earlier in the week. when I ordered more a few days later he dropped it on my yard exactly where I needed it before I could even come out to give him a tip. That saved me a ton of work. The hemlock mulch is good quality and the loam is the best. It is definitely screened well, nearly stone free and nothing bigger than 1/2 inch.

We ordered screened loam from D&D, advertised on their website as "rich, decomposed organic material mixed with compost." After having the soil independently lab-tested, the results indicated little to no compost content — inconsistent with what was advertised. When we contacted D&D twice to discuss the soil, we received conflicting information, some of which was clearly inaccurate, and found the staff to be unhelpful and dismissive. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning customers.

We bought 20 cubic yards of what we were told was screened loam. The price and delivery were great, but the product has been disappointing. After spreading the loam throughout our backyard, the amount of rocks that have appeared in what we were told and thought was screened is unbelievable. Our yard is absolutely covered in rocks which will make seeding and growing our grass extremely difficult and the appearance and feel less than ideal. What they did to edge, weed and mulch for our much needed beds was remarkable! Wonderful people - smart, kind and all did an amazing job on short notice. Won’t hesitate to keep using them!
