I hired DCS Built for my basement remodel permit three years ago. This time when I need to apply for deck permit, I reached out to James Dow again. James is very responsive and knowledgeable with the process. The permit process can be intimidating. With DCS built on your side, you can trust the design drawings will be high quality, turn around will be prompt and you will be informed along the way. I surely will return for their service.
I had my deck railing replaced and in the process James recommended reinforcements to the railing/stairs that I would not have otherwise considered. I am very pleased with the end product. James has a structural engineering knowledge that many others do not, which was a plus and greatly appreciated.
We hired DCS Built for architect drawings over a year ago. We weren't able to get to the permit until recently. Was told by the city that the architect provided the wrong building codes, and only provided 4 pages of the 16 index drawings. Tried to contact the company with no response. We are having to hire a new architect to re-do the drawings for permit approval.
Love working with DCS Built. Their design team and transparent pricing structure allowed me to get exactly what we wanted with our project. Great communication and very professional.
I met these gentlemen yesterday and I have to say I was impressed with the detail and professionalism they displayed. I will definitely use them for my upcoming project.
