I love DC, but not the Office of Tax and Revenue. Hopefully you have the opportunity to start a business elsewhere then please take it! You can call this office five times and get five different responses. Most recently, I had to renew my property license. I called when I got an alert that it was expiring in ninety days. They told me it was "too early" and that's why I wasn't able to renew my license. Within 10 days of the license expiring, I called again. I was told that it was an "IT issue" and that's why I couldn't file. ... read more
