I was impressed with Ms. Danae great customer service skills at the OTR on 4th Street SW. She truly went above and beyond to accomodate my needs. Ms. Danae was professional, respectful and full of understanding. She looked into all the available possibilities to resolve an issue pertaining my DC tax and was answering all the questions I had. I live in MD, but work in DC, and I have been calling , e mailing, and all I have gotten are hang ups and no response but one email. I have been trying to get my refund and no one has helped me at all
Highly do not recommend. Long wait times. Horrible processes in place. Lackluster customer service. System lags. And it’s been this way for years judging from similar sentiments from people over the course of the past 10+ years. 0 stars. DC public services are terrible. I filed in February. It’s June and they are telling me I have to wait two more months to do a stop payment/ check reissue. I’m almost at the point where they can keep the money just out of frustration.
Wow, light years improvement in customer service and employee knowledge and courtesy! Kennedy W. was beyond superb in addressing my tax refund! Definitely NOT the terrible tax service that I have received for over the past 20 years. Keep up the GREAT work DC in making services great for residents and former residents!
