I've tried so very hard to get into contact with management, it's basically impossible. I was interested in their apartments in Belfast. Submitted my application about 3 months ago, after a month and a half of no response I started to become worried. I simply wanted to be informed on current availability as well as my waitlist status, so I called during their open hours. First time there was no answer, so I waited a few days. I contacted the company to inquire about a property listing in Portland, ME that I was interested in and got a response that was haphazard and curt. When I followed up on the related inquiry, I did not receive a reply. Unfortunately, the lack of communication appears to be a recurring theme as other reviews are echoing similar sentiments. I wish it was more professional and didn’t violate our tenant rights. I want to be thankful. We need outgoing Mail. We need access to our storage units. We need laundry that works. We need the heat to work correctly and consistently. We need more time to prepare for inspections than a note on the door one day before. They don’t have the right to go in our closets, or tell us how much food we can have in our refrigerators. We just need professionalism and respect. They get too much rent for the level of service provided.

I experienced unprofessional, poor and lazy communication from whomever manages some of their Portland, ME listings. It was like I was trying to sell THEM the apartment the way I had to pry for basic information.
