RecommendedFirst time kayaking and Whitefish Dunes was a beautiful place to learn! James and Leah were great guides giving us instruction on how to kayak and interesting history about the area. Highly recommend kayaking with DC Adventure Center!

as most have replied, the staff was great. however, when there is a storm approaching and the winds are roughly 14mph. that is a bad idea to be on a kayak on Lake Michigan. I don't do this for a living and know that. Today, I felt like a dollar sign rather than a customer you cared about. Enjoy our money. We were there several hours before and expressed our concern. At no time were we offered a refund or a different solution of any kind. I get you can't control the weather, but you can control how you react to it.
We had a great time and everyone I spoke with was helpful and friendly! I highly recommend this business!
