always hate to leave a low star rating but I came here after a month long backpack, for their spa signature manicure (my hands needed some help!) everything seemed to be fine until the top coat went on. Which made the paint job look super sloppy. The nail tech re-did the work, but once the top coat went on a second time, the edges once again looked like a child painted my nails. Quite literally, the best manicure I've ever had in 35 years. The pic is three weeks in. Tony did a fantastic job. Not bad at $55 for a gel manicure. These are my real nails.
I am on vacation and came here for a relaxing pedicure. I was told it would be one hour and that it would be $90 a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure should’ve also included a hot Stone Massage. The pedicure and manicure combine lasted 35 minutes. There was no hot stone massage. And I was charged an extra five dollars for having shine rather than polish put on my nails without being told till I paid. Second time I have asked for a simple request: the first time I asked if they could fix a broken nail. The second time I asked for a color change. Both times the owner made up some ridiculous excuse as to why she couldn’t do the service. I had to go to another salon, and each time they were able to fulfill the request without question and even they found her excuses strange when I explained her reasoning. I’ve been getting acrylics and pedicures for decades. Dazzle is the most consistently excellent salon I’ve ever been to. They are by far the best in South Lake Tahoe. If I could give them 10 stars, I would do it!
