Had a very positive experience during the sales portion of dealing with Daytona in Walden. After purchasing the home however, things are not as smooth. Between the delay in response times from their warranty department, the short curt responses from sales it makes it impossible to give more than 2 stars.
Our experience building with Daytona Homes in Harmony has been mixed. The sales process was excellent, Muneza was fantastic to work with and made the purchase and build phase smooth and positive. Unfortunately, the experience changed significantly after we took possession of our home. Communication with the warranty department has been poor, and the overall disorganization has been frustrating. The warranty is just horrible. Never reply to your emails and don’t give you their phone number either. We bought a home almost 5 years ago and didn’t have the fridge and freezer we paid for. 4 years later they told us they couldn’t give us what we bought so we had to keep using the loaners. They don’t fit into the space of our home because they were supposed to be temporary. They said someone would come to make it fit but it still hasn’t happened.
Daytona Homes forgot to put insulation in the Artic. Can you believe. How did this pass the inspection. All trades ignored. After I suggested there is an issuse the house was getting very hot. They came checked and found no insulation. Daytona trade sprayed the insulation with no prep job and the dust was all over in side the house. Still the insulation is not done proper. They have still not done any warranty work all pending
Giving a one star is crime for this builder. We bought new house from this builder. Warranty's work is: When you report a problem, warranty supervisor visit your house, give a stupid explanation to avoid repair. Our parking pad was peeling and breaking all over the place withing 8 months. A guy visited and after that no reply, no communication and no fix.
