The doctors and nurses are ok, but the front desk schedulers are utterly and completely incompetent. We had an appointment scheduled today at 11 am with the Gold Team. Confirmed this by email, phone and healtheVet. We checked in at 10:00 am and I questioned the front desk person as to why we had another primary care appointment the next day. I had an x-ray done a few weeks ago at this va things went good for once.was told they would review xray then decide next step .tried calling several times about status could not get in touch with anyone as usual. They have been amazing with the referrals. I just moved to the area and immediately needed extensive care due to an injury and they were fantastic, handling my emergency room visit to my transportation to a specialty trauma center to my hospitalization with coordinated ease. The ONLY I have encountered is that they are closed after 4:30 pm. Man! That's early!
I was spoken with disrespect, when I asked for the HUD-VASH Program, and was met with a representative from the department, a very aggressive masculine white woman, I asked her for my voucher, she said, " we are not giving out vouchers" immediately, I told her, I had a voucher already, on record from a different state, she said, "then go back there, where you got it." and walked away.
The attention, passion and care given here is above and beyond. My husband has many issues and he is always treated with respect and care.
