As someone with several chronic, painful, disabling conditions, I hate when a doctor asks me “well, what do you think?”. I think I’m not the doctor. I think it’s YOUR job to figure out what’s causing the issues you specialize in. The sleep techs were friendly, but the sleep study is a tortuous joke unless you have sleep apnea. Everyone kept excitedly telling me I don’t have apnea….I never thought I did and that wasn’t the reason I was referred for a sleep study. Emma was so wonderful in helping my mom get her bipap delivered from when she was discharged. She was very responsive, very helpful, and very empathic. We love everything about our experience working with Dayton respiratory center.
Their office scheduled my sleep study and my follow up. Called on Monday for a Friday appointment leaving a message asking if I got my study done. I had so I didn’t think to call back. Welp, it was canceled because the slide takes 3 weeks to come back. Why wouldn’t they know that when they schedule it beyond me. Drove across town in the pouring rain, left work early. When upset with the cancellation because they scheduled it too soon I was given “I tried to call you Friday”
