GREAT place to shop. Fresh produce, nice selections, reasonable prices and most of all FRIENDLY SERVICE. As if that's not enough, you can mail pkgs without schlepping to downtown to the big Post Office. Love, love, love shopping there.
They're located up on the East Bench so they have plenty of well-heeled clientele for whom money is no object. Naturally then, their prices are higher in general but sometimes they have a good price leader like $5.00 pizza or something to lure you in (assuming you can find the ad, a tricky proposition). They have an outstanding deli and bakery section. The store is old and small but clean and the staff friendly and relaxed.
Quick grocery store. This is the best place to run and get some quick items from. They have a great selection and usually when I am baking, I forget a few things and can run there and get the things quickly. I really enjoy the doughnuts from their bakery too. The applesauce ones.
Love It! I love Day's Market. We used to live right by it and so I did the majority of my grocery shopping there. The prices are a little bit higher than say Walmart supercenter but you are not going to have the crowds and you are going to have very friendly customer service. I live 20 minutes away and I still go there quite often instead of the other grocery store that is 2 minutes from me.
