Cigarette smoke was very choking and this is a non-smoking hotel. The white towels and washcloths are dingy. They need to be cleaned with bleach or replaced. When I pulled the covers back, hair was on the sheets, pillow case was dirty. They need to bleach to tub as that too is dingy, floors need to be swept. For breakfast all they had was waffles, cereal, juice and coffee. Babies crying at 6am. No screens on the windows.
BEWARE. Should have known there would be an issue because immediately upon entering the room it smelled truly awful. It was some sort of headache inducing chemical smell. This place is NOT clean. Noticed a bug on the wall right when I entered the room. Just killed it and left as I was late for an event. Came back from said event only to find a second similar bug. Off to a very rough start as (what I imagine) were drunks slamming room and outside doors until 4am. Complained to night clerk who didn’t give a shit. 4 hours sleep max. In morning talked to Victoria the manager who offered us 2 other rooms AWAY from that area. Great advice as the next two nights were peaceful. THANK YOU VICTORIA
The only reason for losing one star is that we didn't care much for the beds. The mattress was on a metal frame which was bigger than the mattress, so you could hit your shins on it. And the mattress was pretty low grade and hard. But otherwise the room was beautiful and we loved that we could get our own Netflix on the TV and it was just generally laid out very well and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
