Although it was listed I didn't have my refrigerator. They also told me I could not rent through them anymore because they accused me of smoking in my room. I haven't smoked cigarettes in almost 5 years. I have to sleep with my window open all year round, and according to them the windows are only for emergency exits. Why have Windows in the room that can open if the guests aren't allowed to use them
It appears that no effort has been made to rebuild since the major fire in March...
The front desk guy Joe took care of everything for us. Went out of his way to get us the best possible deal on our room, and made sure we had everything to make our stay even more enjoyable. It's service like his that will keep me coming back, and suggesting it to others as a place to enjoy... Thank you Joe. You were awesome !!!
Here's what I think then. This establishment is a mess. The sheets were itchy. The walls were thin. The whole place reeked of weed. The continental breakfast was closed because of "covid." It clearly hasn't been renovated (or visited by an inspector) in 20+ years. I didn't feel safe. Edit: Apparently, they're giving the olace a renovation now. 4 words. Took you long enough.
