I stayed at the Clarion Pointe in Athens, Alabama while working in the area, and overall I had a very solid experience. The location is great—close to a lot of good restaurants and convenient to get around town. Before checking in, I looked at the room and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, nicely maintained, and had a newer TV with DirecTV, which I really appreciated. This is the third time I’ve stayed here. It’s truly amazing! The updates are wonderful. The room was like a sanctuary. If you need to stay in this area and you are on a budget, Clarion Pointe Athens is the #1 Choice!
