Here’s the review in a nutshell (photos attached): PROS - Good location - Parking wasn’t too bad CONS - Bed bugs in BOTH beds - Manager only had cleaning staff change the sheets and not the mattress - Offered a room change once hotel was notified of bed bugs - Rust rings in the bathtub - Sticky residue on door handles - In SERIOUS need of a remodel/renovations With hotels on reduced occupancy due to Covid restrictions, I’m very aware of the challenges businesses are facing right now. Very nice and clean and friendly staff, stayed here after my reservations for the Navy Lodge on North Island got out on hold for sailors on orders and we weren’t called and told of this until we arrived during graduation week, all hotels were booked and this one was available and worked out rest for us wil definitely stay here again in the future if need be
It was nice and quiet, rooms were very clean. Services was excellent. This hotel was full of people evacuating from the fire and the poor guy was buy himself and he was excellent, phone ringing off the hook and line out the door yet her was kind, patient and made exceptions with pets. They worked with me and I couldn't appreciate it more! It's also a walk from downtown, which is beautiful.
