Best night manager I’ve ever met. If the rooms had been horrible, I’d probably still give the place 5 stars because of him.
Got in my room. Inspected it, and promptly left. Disgusting. This place is filthy. Parking lot is disgusting. Dust, blood, boogers, and signs of bugs in the room. The bed sheets were damp, clearly not dried enough. I will be pursuing a refund and I expect someone to reach out shortly. This place is BAD.
Room was bad, bathroom door won't close, bathroom small. Bed comfortable, pillows sucked, air conditioner not powerful enough, shower sucked, disappointed for a Wyndham company. Dirty and unkept grounds, overhang at entrance hit by something and damaged, should be checked for structural damage, could be dangerous if compromised. If owners put money into the place it would be much better it has great potential..
For the price it is a good deal. Clean rooms and helpful reception. You can't expect the Hotel Hinton for a budget priced hotel. For what it is, it is great. Close to various tourist and food places within Whitecourt. I would stay there again.
