Upon arrival there were multiple homeless people outside, coming up, trying to talk to me and look in my car, while I’m alone with my child trying to check in. While checking in the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Once getting to my room, the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke, the bed had green, brown, and yellow stains all over it, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and there was mouse droppings by the refrigerator. Again, worse places to lay your head down. Pros: - 35 mins from Rushmore - coffee 24/7 - kind staff - easy parking Cons: - rooms smell of smoke 💨 - tv may work, mine didn’t - small bathrooms - lousy pillows (old down from what I can tell) As with many Days Inn locations, my opinion remains these hotels are more like places to lay your head through the evening and continue in your journey the following day. Trash house! Trash everywhere. Took my dog to walk and noticed two screens out, one window open. Clerk acted like NBD. Thanks for letting us know. It was not a good experience but I was stuck as I evacuated due to no power and they were the best of a bad situation

The towels looked used with stains. The window was blocked shut with a 2X4 🙄. Just outside my window was a trash compactor that ran until past 10:30pm. Electrical panels open in the hallways. Bags of trash left overnight just outside the main door. I accidentally fell victim to “cancellation insurance” = $10 more from the third party registration. Th... read more
