I know what you're doing. You see the cheap price for this hotel and are checking the reviews to find out if this is a "cheap but decent" hotel or "cheap and traumatizing" hotel. Well I can confidently say it's a "cheap but decent" hotel! Everything was clean. Not everything was new. "Clean" and "New" are not the same thing! If it's just me on my own, I'll gladly save a hundred bucks to sleep somewhere where the door trim hasn't been updated in ten years. It's fine! Staff were very pleasant too. Expensive and awful place. They also have mouse (no rats they said) problems. Very dark, need more lights inside. Also beds are too old.

The hotel’s biggest advantage is its prime location right in the downtown core — very convenient for a short city visit. However, room size is quite compact, not suitable for families or longer stays. Positives: • Reception operates 24/7, and staff are courteous and responsive. • Rooms were odour-free, and the bed was comfortable.
