If you’re ever here, get food from somewhere and pull into their lot to eat, don’t do it. I had pulled in here after getting food after being on the road and was watching a video on my phone and I wasn’t there but 2 minutes before a minivan pulled up next to me and honked before asking if I was staying at the hotel, after I told them no, and I wasn’t bothering no one, and I’d like to eat in peace. Positively the kindest, sweetest staff I have ever encountered in my 45 years on planet Earth. They accommodated me when I was out of an apartment (Luckily I still had money). I thank God Almighty--call Him The Heavenly Father, Yahweh, Eheieh (or Sri Lord Krishna if you are part Eastern Indian as I am). This Sidney, Ohio Days Inn is family owned and operated. It is not an overly luxurious hotel like The Marriott (rooms there are $200 a night), but it is very comfortable and the noise levels are bare minimum. HIGHLY RECOMMEND... read more
This hotel is very run down and in desperate need of refurbishment. Rate is good if all you want is a bed to sleep in. Appearance of bathroom was such that I avoided a shower. CArpets worn, some rooms had their room number plaques on the floor near the room door versus attached tot he wall at eye level near the door. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a very "cheap" room as you definitely only get what you pay for.
I don’t usually leave reviews for anything but I felt I must for this hotel. I was completely shocked to see the room numbers written on the doors with a Sharpie permanent marker so I knew this may not be a good sign! The room looked decent and upgraded upon entering the room. No carpet as I saw in photos online. It was vinyl flooring. It was nice. I am not the type of person that needs a luxury hotel in any way, but I do need clean. This hotel got a one because I couldn’t leave a zero. I was horrified. There was hair on the sink counter, I don’t think they ever cleaned behind the door, the carpet in the hallways were repulsive, and the picture on the wall had liquid stains. We were exhausted so we stayed and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I am not sure where the pictures on their website came from but definitely not from the hotel we were in.
