I got turned away from two hotels that said "pet friendly" but doesn't actually mean cats. The second hotel gets a pass but not the first one. However, this one accepted us so that's nice but the room reeks of puppy pee. Don't really get the prejudice towards cats, we always leave the room we stay in spotless.
Wish I would’ve read the reviews prior but it was midnight and most hotels were booked. We also as others have said were in a pet friendly room (108) and it didn’t smell bad but that’s because they had air fresheners all over it. Only 1 of us could shower because it wouldn’t drain. We felt itchy after getting into the beds which 1 bed was broke and leaned to one side. Only stayed a couple hours then got back on the road. Never again for Days inn since this is the kind of rooms the have. Keep shopping and don’t stay here.
Very nice, clean, and comfortable room. Hotel is well maintained with a very homey feel.
