There is little choice in Renfrew, so welcome to Days Inn. The hotel is in dire need of a refresh, but an attentive handiperson would.be the place to start. Kind, helpful front desk attendant opened the pool gate for us (yes, in October - is was 30C that day). Carpets need to be replaced with flooring that can be washed between guests. Fridge, tv, washroom facilities all worked fine. Perhaps the biggest downside is the backdoor that won't close.
$180/night checked in at 930pm, no reduced rate for walk ins Guests should not be charged more/full price when there are "Ontario Works" (quoted from clerk) residents staying there at a government reduced rate
I complained about the dirty used razor I found in the shower and the noise of the fridge in the room. No response. Nada. They thanked me in a survey for my "discretion". No discount, no upgrade offered. I didn't even mention the filth on the walls and the fact you can just walk in the side door with no key. So unimpressed. And no, that is not my hair on the shower wall in the picture.
