My boyfriend and I and our dog stayed here on 12/31/25, the room was average but clean. The smoke detector was ripped out of the wall but we weren’t expecting much from a Days Inn, just wanted somewhere to stay to celebrate the holiday so I didn’t think it was worth mentioning, surely the housekeeper who cleaned the room beforehand would have had knowledge of it. So the room was nice, well priced, little dirty on the floor. Facilities worked, but breakfast and the pool were pretty bad. Biggest problem I have is I was charged for an extra day and it has been a hassle trying to get it refunded. I feel I am going to have to travel back up there to get my money back.
Beware of this place! It deserves zero stars! They charged us for an extra deposit & then some, confusing? Yes. when we called about a refund? Nothing. We drove back 81 miles & talked to the owner & clerk in person. Guess what they did? They charged us a $10 fee instead of refunding us what they took in the first place. Unrefunded Pet Deposit plus additional charges– Days Inn Ocean Shores We stayed for two nights at the Days Inn in Ocean Shores, WA, and paid the full room total through Expedia. We were aware of and agreed to pay the pet fees directly to the hotel, which were $25 per night plus a $50 refundable deposit to be returned upon checkout. Our dog is a 10-pound Shih Tzu, and there was no damage to the room during our stay. We also brought our own blanket for the bed.
