Dated, but clean. As far as cheap places to stay, it's worth the money. Even a decent view of the water on one side. Continental breakfast was decent, except the coffee was out of a dispenser machine.
Our special auntie slumber party, Cleaning staff were so lovely and friendly along with our room being spotless at arrival, and the breakfast attendant was sweet and funny. The front desk was very observant, friendly and inviting. They were knowledgeable and offered suggestions for places I could take the girls to enjoy. The pool/ hot tub had an issue the second night and staff were quick to notify and already had notified technician and was getting things addressed. Rebecca at the front desk was not at all accommodating, friendly or even polite. There are better options available in Nanaimo. Avoid.
