Reminds me of a Howard Johnson. It’s sketchy. Does not uphold the reputation of a days in. The cleaning has not been done well and there are stains on the bathtub and if you walk on the floors barefoot your feet are black.
June 18-20, 2025 We took our kids (adult, 18+) down for a couple of days as a graduation present. This hotel is being vastly misadvertised. They claim ocean views (only 12 of 60+ rooms) have an ocean view. There is beach access... once you walk past their pool, down a sketchy alley that is. The pool area is a hazard as well and less than maintained or cleaned regularly. The walkway crossing over the dune to get to the beach is a true hazard and in serious need of repair. Don’t know how Wyndham pins their name on this. Faulty scary elevator. I’m too old to climb to 3rd. Very dirty stinking area to access elevator. No ice machine nor ice buckets. Bathrooms are atrocious. Beds had sand in them before anyone had climbed in. Microwave works when it wants. Panel missing on elevator ceiling has mold inside. I realize it’s old but as long as it’s been here they have made enough money to keep it up better. They claim they will refund 50% for one night. We will see.
I don’t even know how this hotel has 2.5 star review but don’t let that fool you it’s really -1. Be warned do not go to this hotel! I repeat do not, no matter how cheap the rooms are don’t go!!!! Worst hotel experiences ever. First thing that didn’t go well besides how old, dirty, and how nothing worked at this hotel was. The plumbing didn’t.
