We had one of the "remodeled" rooms. It was fine and a decent value for what they charge. Staff was friendly, but there was no hairdryer in the room and none even to borrow from the lobby...I had to drive to Target so mom could dry her hair. Can't complain too much because of the cost, but what hotel these days does not have a hairdryer? Also, it is in a very noisy area so bring earplugs.
The worst hotel I've ever had in the 8 years of traveling. Hotel under renovation but rooms not inspected by Health department to be open. Electrical outlets not working, lamps not working, no cold water, hot water extremely hot when turned on burnt hand, air condition not cooling room, tub draining so slow that you could take a bath and a shower together, wax ring leaking under toilet, toilet seat not fitting Toilet bowl, sink stopper not connected and had to dig stopper out of sink, towel rack hung upside down and being ch... read more
Ok so I know they were in the middle of remodeling but it didn't say that when I booked 2 rooms. It also failed to say the pool wasn't open. Their wasn't a hairdryer, or even a microwave in the rooms either. They were clean and they were nice to us but the biggest part is that they asked me to pay a $100.00 deposit that was supposed to be refunded after I had checked out. My wife already left a review. I was gonna let the obvious flaws from the renovations slide. I was gonna let the noise slide. I was even gonna let the poor service and ignorant staff slide as well. It wasn't until i checked out Sunday morning and found ashes flicked on my brand new truck, was when i drew the line. We were traveling from PA to AL and TN was our half way point. The first night we stayed here on the way down it was ok. The rear facing room smelled like mold. It was damp, but at least it was quiet. We slept well... read more
