I stayed here with my father and a friend for Labor Day race weekend 2025. The location is great (not far from Darlington Raceway), but everything else about the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The floors were dirty, bugs in the bathroom and on the floor...it just wasn't clean enough. And to top it off, the TV was missing its power cord which we had to ask a maintenance person to find a replacement for. I know it's just a two-star hotel, but the cleanliness wasn't acceptable.
The night clerks did not have my pre-paid room reservation, even though I had called the location during the day to confirm. It took a few minutes for them to figure that out, even though I gave them my ID and trip itinerary number. I assume the area is not very safe, as they did not offer to let me into the office to work it out. I had to speak to them through thick glass.
