The newly remodeled rooms were nice, except that we had an accessible room and the shower had no place to set anything like shampoo, except on the floor. A shelf is needed. Also, I would like a coffee maker in the room.
stayed last year with a group, and the rooms were less than desirable. When we returned this year, we were pleasantly surprised to find the rooms and hallways had recently been remodeled. Such an improvement! In our room, where the "closet" used to be, was just an empty space. A hang bar and shelf would've been nice since they took away the dresser drawers. Ok if it's just an overnight stay, but we were there for 5 nights. Everything was very clean and friendly staff. Will stay again.
I stayed here for a week, with a roommate, as part of a bike tour. This hotel accommodated a tour group of 155 and made some special provisions, such as letting people park their bikes in a big room and even in the hallways, and the staff even offered old pillowcases to the cyclists to wipe their bikes with, especially when it rained. Impressive. Also impressive was daily room service -- if not a full cleaning, a refreshing towel replenishment and making the bed if you haven't already, plus trash pickup. Room was small, and not as described in pictures, coffee was cold all the time, breakfast ice cold, staff was rude or didn’t acknowledge you , not for any disabled person, no elevator, security doors on side entrances do not lock at all, you can here the people above you at all times of the day. Did not feel welcome at all .
