Title: Horrible Stay – Bugs and Poor Response We stayed at Days Inn in Dubuque from Friday to Sunday, 10/24/25 - 10/26/25 and it was disgusting. Our first room had roaches and what looked like bed bugs — we even woke up with bites. The clerk moved us quietly to another room but didn’t seem surprised at all. Even then, we didn’t feel clean or safe. Totally unacceptable for a Wyndham property. I’m asking for a refund and warning others to stay somewhere else.
Not all Wyndham properties are creates equally. I had a sub par experience at a property in Fond du Lac Wisconsin 2 weeks earlier. My stay in Dubuque was great and the service was excellent. I made a reservation for the wrong day and they canceled and I was able to reschedule with no problem. My key gave me a little issue but the clerk simply reissued a new one and walked with me to my room to make sure it worked. Traveling alone so I definitely appreciated that.
I really wanted to like this place. I came early and checked into a room on a separate bill as they couldn’t combine it with the actual reservation for the night after. The parking lot off the bat didn’t feel safe, not very well lit. I checked out of the first room, moving all my belongings to a car because nobody told me I could stay in it for the original booking. Estaba en el baño y me encontre con esto la verdad me pareció de muy mal gusto también estaba comiendo y aparecieron hormigas, no lo recomiendo lo único bueno es el desayuno
Advertises heated outdoor pool. It is drained. Room smelled like stale cig.arette smoke. Small Chunks of sheetrock along the bathroom walls and smashed into the carpet. Weird half-pillows on the king sized bed. And the ice machine is not functional, appears to have been that way a while
